Fine Art by Paul Grignon: Paintings & Painted Furniture
Witnessing the serene and
sensual corner of this spot
on Cape Cod allows anyone
to envelop their senses in
the magic and incredible
beauty of the Cape.
Me and my lovely bride-to-be down on Cape Cod
during a most magnificent and calming sunset.
(Not the best name for such an ethereal and romantic
spot, but there it is!)

Another wondrous view!
(and one more; just put the
mouse over this image...)
Our wacky cats (Miles, above, Fenway, below.)
They are great felines, with their own distinct
personalities, and they always seem to enjoy
batting around dusty found objects in the
middle of the night. I affectionately call them
'Fathead', and they don't seem to mind.

Here's a gallery of art from my
brother, Joseph, who is quite an
artist himself! Whether it be
paintings or sculpture, he has quite
the fertile mind, and I shall
showcase more of his art soon.
These are his acrylic paintings, plus
a smattering of figures based on my
own cartoon drawings. Joe also
does fantastic castles, and is
currently working on a wonderfully
imaginative toy geared for 3-10 year
olds. I am certain that his latest
endeavor will be a smash hit, and
as soon as it becomes available, I
shall post it here for all to marvel!

This painting to your left
depicts the spectacular
scenery to be found at
Stourhead, in England.
The entire park was
created by
Capability
Brown, and the fantastic
foliage present is indeed
rather awe-inspiring!

Here, Joe presents one of
the serene and grand
vistas to be witnessed
there, capturing the
summer sun upon such a
pastoral vision.

This little scene was Joe's first attempt with
acrylics, and I was extremely flattered that he
presented this to me as a gift, a recollection of our
childhood when we lived in Ridgefield, CT. Back
then it was a sleepy hamlet, and here he depicts
me fending off the lake's winter winds, bracing
myself for a trek along its shores.

A Cast of Characters!
Here are just a few random samples of Joe's handiwork with figures, these pieces made entirely out of
Sculpey, a clay that always stays soft 'til baked. I think Joe did an absolutely remarkable job capturing
their inherent personalities, making them 3-D from a 2-D format. Rather superb, don't you think?
